Last weekend : Jeonju for 3 days 3 nights.
Checked into a motel and their motel is really cool. It’s an automated check in. Choose your room from the pictures and slot in your cash and key will drop down like buying coke from a vending machine. So it is pretty fuss free and easy. No need for check in procedures. The rooms come in different themes and it is only $60 per night. Each room comes with a jaccuzzi in the bathroom. The rooms are nicely decorated and comes with 2 super fast speed internet computers for you to use. Rooms are at $60 per night.
Chilling out in a cafe while waiting for his friends.
Got this finally from Olive and Young store. It is like watsons which carry local and international brands. I heard about this “Wonder” water and how it removes make up effectively and easily. So i decided to get this.
Sightseeing like a Tourist. And i went to his University to take a look.
We went to Hanok Village. Jeonju still has more than 800 hanok houses. A city with traditional Korean cultures and architectures. One of the must-try food in Jeonju is the Jeonju Bibimbap. You gotta have it.
yummy bingsoo . Damn nice and it is only $6. I can have this for dessert everyday !
Met up with his friends for dinner and coffee. Plastic surgery in Korea is really tip top. I wouldnt know that his friends did the surgeries if he didnt tell me. The noses and eyes look so natural. I was pretty tempted to get my double eyelids and nose done but i was kinda afraid of pain. The pain from burning my Millia seeds around my eye area 3 years ago in SG was already soo jialat..i dont know how can i take the pain from post plastic surgery.
Mr Park’s vein removal will take 1 month to heal completely ( for all the scars and bruises to subside ). It has been 2 weeks and he is walking fine and removed the stitches. But the bruises are still around. It will take 2 more weeks for it to subside.
Last day in Jeonju ,we had Korean BBQ on a rooftop. Mr Park’s friend invited us to his house and his mum prepared the food for us.
Love it..the location is so k-drama
On tuesday morning , we left for Busan from Jeonju. Met up with Young Tack (Mr Park’s friend ) who is from Busan. He is our tour guide.
The famous mil-myeon which is only available in Busan. It is so yummy and i love it especially in the hot summer.
Dinner by Gwangalli beach. We had a huge plate of sashimi and live sashimi ( the things are still wriggling on the plate and i dare not eat it ) . The 2 boys said they are good for man. lol. Who says you only had Kimchi everyday in Korea ? There are so much more to eat. Kimchi is just part of every day side dish !
After dinner , we had Bingsoo at Mangosix and enjoy the sea breeze.
Young Tack’s sister is so kind and nice. All thanks to her kind hospitality , she actually “gave” us the house for our 3 days 2 night stay whereas she and her hubby moved to her parents house for that few days so that we can have the house . So the 3 of us ( Young Tack , Mr Park and me ) stayed over and we were craving for ramyeon for supper.
So here you go ! Ramyeon with kimchi. One of the best combination ever !
That ends our first day in Busan.
We combed Haeundae Beach , Gwangalli Beach , had the famous Mil-Myeon and a cozy apartment for us to catch up and sleep over.
Here is a short preview of upcoming pieces !
Stay tune for the full preview on Agneselle’s facebook page !
I like all of them and kept all ! Some are Korean inspired pieces which my bf got for me. But i cant wear those from Korea because they are very loose and short ! The girls there paired them with leggings for Spring.
Gotta head back to work before i blog about my day 2 in Busan !
Super excited about my photoshoot this weekend. And im soo happy. I had classic pedi and mani done at my favourite hangout place in Korea for only $40 ! Im gonna keep some of my favourite hang out places a secret. It is actually a local hangout area with cheap and nice clothes/food/pedi and mani etc ! Nicely painted nails now..oh yeah ! Pedi and mani are so cheap in Korea ! You should get yours done if you are going there.
I lugged back 250 pieces of masks home from Missha. Ok…both Mr Park and i lugged them back together because of his surgery. He cannot carry too heavy things or walk to much. When i told him i need to go to Missha again , he wanna “faint”. Now he has “missha phobia”. Tomorrow is the last day im gonna go to Missha to buy the remaining 100 masks because i scooped up all the green tea masks from the shop and too lazy to go to all outlets to get them all at one go. Going to Emart tomorrow to get Missha and other masks since Emart has counters for all brands such as Face shop , Natural Republic , Tony Moly etc. Wanna get the baby foot cream from Tony Moly. I was told it is a good foot cream which gives you babysoft feet.
Best part is that …NONE of these masks are for me ! Lol. Im such a good friend. Lol. Helped friends to buy.
Gonna get some for AE launch give aways tomorrow ! My friend used the V mask and told me it was good too !
Gonna buy send them back to SG tomorrow ( if we have the energy to head down to the post office ) .
Have a good weekend and stay tune for upcoming launch !
My 3rd week in Korea and im loving the life here. But i miss my Dolly ( my dog ) !!! Life here is not as fast pace and stressful as it is in Singapore. Standard of living is not high. Im not talking about cosmetics or clothes. But daily necessities such as food and medications etc.
Anyway..good night !!!!
