Saturday Brunch at House @ Dempsey for our monthly date out. I shall call it the 공주의날 (Gong-Ju-ui-Nal) aka Princess’s day.

Abit tired of the usual Egg Benedict so we decided to try something new. So we had House Free Form Eggs with bacon , sausage , salad and sauteed mushrooms.

Healthy Pick-Me-Up (beetroot with mint and apple) and Lychee Lemon Grass drinks to quench our thirst on this hot and sunny Saturday.

And we ordered American Sliders accompanied with truffle fries.

I was feeling so tired and still having a “travel-lag” that my eye bags were popping out 😦 . I dont know why but feeling really really tired recently. So busy that i have been getting less than 8 hours of sleep everyday. Nevertheless, the small talks and kisses managed to perk me up.

We were abit disappointed with our two dishes. Doesnt taste as good as it was recommended. A friend told me this place was overrated and i thought i should give it a try since both of us have not been to this cafe. Could have been better though. Nevertheless the great company and afternoon spent with Oppa was worth it. Thank you Ryunjae Oppa for the brunch treat. Your 공주 (Gong-Ju) really enjoyed it.

After our sumptuous brunch , it is time to snuggle and watch variety shows on the ipad. In the evening , we headed down to Taewoo Oppa’s condo for his birthday dinner. Had BBQ pork belly for dinner and lotsa traditional food. And i had my favourite KIMCHI ! Lotsa alcohol but i skipped that.

First time seeing the 생일빵 . The birthday boy gets hit by everyone. He has baseball bats at home….soo..hahaha.

It was fun night and it ended at 2am.

Sunday morning was a routine one. We cooked lunch together. I cut and boiled the potatoes , sliced and marinated the pork. Oppa fried the pork and cooked the curry. We made yummy Korean curry for lunch. Simple and soo full that i fell asleep after lunch. Too much carbohydrates make me sleepy.

Soo yummy that i can have one more plate.

In the hot and sunny afternoon , went down to watch Oppa’s baseball match against the Japanese team.

It was soo hot and sunny. But the game was good. Been fed really well over the weekend and treated like a Princess. Lol. I was surprised to know that Chungmin Oppa supplies kimchi to the shop where i always frequented to buy kimchi and Korean restaurants at Tanjong Pagar. Wanted to buy from him but he said it is free for me. YAY !! I cant wait to eat the yummy kimchi. 5kg of Kimchi !!
