Monday night was at Royal China having mood cakes with Alan who is a good friend of mine. I love the Tiffany blue decor and feels sooo relax seeing these Tiffany blue walls. Not only that , they are also famous for their dim sum lunch set !

Snow skin moon cakes !

Their snow skin moon cakes are very soft. Alan and i were talking for about an hour but the snow skin was still intact and didn’t melt or turned sticky.

It comes in 4 flavors

White – Mini Snow Skin with White Lotus Seed Paste & Egg Yolk

Pink – Mini Snow Skin with Red Wine Cranberry Paste

Yellow –  Mini Snow Skin with Golden Champagne Truffle & Lotus Seed Paste

Purple – Mini Snow Skin with Custard & Egg Yolks

The snow skin was soft and nice. Fillings are also fresh and fragrant.

Traditional Moon cakes are also available in 3 different flavous :

 My favorite goes to the Traditional Pure White Lotus Seed Paste.

Fill with lots of lotus seeds , lemon grass and bak kwa. The lemon grass brings out the flavor in the moon cake. The fillings are really alot and they are really generous with the fillings. The moon cake skin was baked to perfection. Every moon cake was made in their kitchen and not from factories.

I really enjoyed myself and eat alot. Bought a box of mixed snow skin flavors home too.

One thing i will always look out for is the packaging. No matter how delicious are the moon cakes but the packaging are not enticing , i will not buy. And i have a thing for moon cake packaging that looks really oriental.
