Busan Day 4

Day 5 & 6 in Busan! Almost a week gone so fast.

On Day 5, went to Hanssem with Mil and hubs to choose sofa for Mil’s new house. The new apartment will be near Sajik Baseball stadium and it is at Dongnae-gu

Before going to Hanssem in Haeundae to choose furnitures , we went to have Mil-myeon. It is Busan’s signature dish. It is made up of “mee sua” kind of noodles served on cold noodles style with spicy sauce. You need to add abit of vinegar and mustard and the cold soup base will taste very good.

Different cities and provinces in Korea have their unique and representative dishes. Like in Jeonji, it is their bibimbap. So in Busan, one of those are Mil-myeon (a kind of noodles) , Dwejigukbap (Pork stew rice), Or-mul (fish cakes).

The queue at original and most famous shop was 2hrs long which we decide to go other day.

So we went to another popular Mil-myeon restaurant frequented by father-in-law when he was still alive 16yrs ago. Very hard to find seats also.

Noodles were all handmade on the spot after you ordered (below).

This is soooooo yummy! 1 bowl is not enough and i was craving for moreeeee.

After lunch, we went to Hanssem in Haeundae. Hanssem is like their version of Ikea but better grade of furnitures.

After viewing and choosing furnitures, MIL dropped us off at Seomyeon while she went to have dinner with friends.

Seomyeon is my favourite place in Busan. If you have watched my LIVE videos on instagram, you probably went for an instagram tour of Seomyeon.

You can have food and shopping all together. It is the central of Busan. For friends who are looking for accoms in Busan, i always recommend hotels in Seomyeon because go anywhere is convenient and you can eat 24/7 and shop also. Shops like Olive young , Innisfree etc close at 11pm or 12midnight.

Olive Young is my favourite place to buy all my skincare..

Of cos now there are new ones like Lalavla and Lohbs but Olive Young is my favourite. Will blog on these places later when i review my beauty buys.

Happening streets of Seomyeon.

All thanks to Hwasa from ” I live Alone” variety show, i was soo addicted to eating intestines. She eat until so shiok lor !

See this youtube you know liao.

It makes me crave for intestines bbq. Of cos much better than the one i had at Running Man restaurant in Tg Pagar. With just sgd 35 (₩32,000) , i can have bbq intestines + fried rice + beer + free flow side dishes. But i need spend 4 times the amount in bbq restaurants in SG. So i was binging in it in Korea until indigestion lol.

We went to hub’s friend – Ji-woo oppa’s restaurant in Seomyeon ( 남자곱창 – Namja Gobchang restaurant ). 2nd floor serves pig intestines whereas the 1st floor serves cow intestines. His biz must be doing well. He even opened a Po-cha (Korean traditional bar where you have stews and alcohol) and other f&b biz.

Beer with Hubs in Korea. What a mood to drink beer.

I don’t drink because i dont really like and i cannot drink. But eating those oily intestine bbqs made me want to have a cold beer to 去油!

So shiok right..肥死!

After the meal, i went to Olive Young to get my skincare and also did a Live video on instastory and went to Seomyeon underground shopping. The stretch is very long and brings you on end of Seomyeon to the other and alot of fashion shops, skincare, sports shoes shops etc and also bring you to Lotte Department Store !

Alot of Olive Young in Seomyeon. Every few mins of walking you will see one. So dont worry. Better to do shopping in Seomyeon. Will explain in other posts why. And bring out your passport too! You can get immediate tax refunds.
