14 more days before back to home in Busan.

I was pretty nervous during the trip back in Apr and this trip will even be more nervous. More and bigger things to discuss about.

But before i get tensed up and busy with more work , shall just put on a mask and relax.

Some friends said im crazy/disciplined enough to put on masks everyday because they are too lazy/tired/no time to do so.

But if you really want good skin , you really need to take are lah. Some girls go to manicure/pedicure/hair treatments monthly/fortnightly/weekly. But i do this everyday instead lah.

I switched to hydrogel masks since beginning of this year. I used to go for sheet masks and found hydrogel masks abit too troublesome. Because sometimes i will scratch or tore it with my nails. But now i got used to it and prefer hydrogel masks now. Because it doesn’t dries up as fast as sheet masks and it also fits into the corner of my eyes and nose properly.

Besides using Sulwhasoo , Hera and Cel-Dermal masks , i am also using Leaders Insolution mask. It is one of the top and best selling masks in Korea.

Compare to Sulwhasoo , Hera and Cel-Dermal , the amount or volume of serums/essences in Leaders Insolution masks are much more. Such that i can even use the excess serums from the sachets to apply on my neck , chest , shoulders and sometimes i apply it on my knee caps and elbows ( areas prone to dry skin ). Their masks are so serums/essences rich such that after i place the mask on my face , i need to pour the excess serums from the sachet onto my palm and spread it out all over my face again and the remains on my neck , chests and other body parts.

You definitely need to try Leaders Insolution if you do not know the brand yet. I knew about this brand a year ago but only get to try their products (serums) this year’s April when i went to Korea. It is hard to find their products and so far i can only get it online from Hyundai mall or CJmall website. I wonder where Oppa’s mum get them from. It is hard to find them in the market.

I usually go for brightening , collagen/lifting, whitening and hydration masks.

I will get 1-2 pieces for wrinkles. Ha…i probably need more of these in 5 years time.

This premium mask is pretty good and i love the smell. It is hard to find it even online.
I need to ask Oppa’s mum where she buys all her make up stuff. She told me ladies there buy masks in cartons and not in pieces. Lol. Because they use it so often . The last time , she bought a huge carton of masks for me ( about 100 over pieces ) . My whole luggage was filled with masks. But heh…i love the masks !

Just added some stuff from Hyundai mall , CJmall and Lotte mall’s website and can’t wait to ship them to Oppa’s house.

Going to bring an empty hand carry luggage there to bring back all my skincare and make up stuff.

It’s been almost 2 months since i got back from Korea.

So when i met my friends , all of the asked the SAME question.

“How’s your meeting with his mother ? “

Haha i can’t remember how many times have i answered this question and i just remember answering ” It’s good” and only for close friends do i go into details. All was positive and nothing negative. His mother said that she wants to exercise and live longer after seeing both Oppa and i together. So it is a very good sign.

I realized both Oppa’s mother and i have alot of things in common.

Like how we like to “pull” the door again after locking it to make sure that we really locked it . Sometimes when we were in a rush , we may think that we forgot to lock the door so we go up and check again.
And we don’t “trust” the men when it comes to housework. Like how they said they will wash but we know they don’t and we will do it instead.

And one thing we had in common which we really talked and share with each other happily.

SKIN CARE !

Yes..skin care. Omoni and i are really into skincare and we have the same habit. We stock up alot , we put on mask packs or masks everyday , we check out the latest and best skin care products in the market. Her make up and skin care hoarding is worst than mine. But i enjoy going through her stock ups of skin care and make up.

I received requests for more product reviews. But because i only buy products which i use and think that it is good , so i can only review or blog them when i got it tried and tested to be good enough to be recommended. There are some new products which i want to buy in my next trip to Korea. I used to buy and buy and buy and ended up , i can’t finish using all of them and it was such as waste because once opened , i must use them within 12 months ! I used to have sooo many serums , sooo many moisturizers etc on my desk.

Ok , so both of us love skincare and love hoarding skin care products and make up products.
Sometimes i felt like i can “shop” at Omoni’s house. Because there are so many products to try and use.

Here’s one of the facial masks Omoni gave me. She let me try 2 pieces when i was sick and bedridden in Korea and i love it. So she called in a Home Shopping hotline ( can’t remember if it was CJmall , Hyundai mall or Lotte ) and ordered a big box ( over 100 pcs ) for me and my bf. Damn fast..call in the morning and arrive the next morning.

Cel-Derma is a well known brand for its facial masks and anti-aging products.

This gel mask comes in 2 sheets ( upper part and lower part of the face ). It is gel-like texture.

Ehh..sorry no pictures of the mask after it was taken out because im quite particular when i put on masks. I make sure my hands are clean and i don’t want to touch the camera and when i put on the mask , i will lie down and relax. Maybe next time i shall ask oppa to take a picture for me when i put on the masks.

Also , im using Cel-Derma eye patch gel. I like it alot and it does help to hydrate my skin. On days when i feel really tired , i will put on the eye gel patch followed by Hera Waterin Eye Roll-On Gel before putting on my make up. It helps my concealer to set properly and not cakey. I really like this eye mask and the one from Mediheal which im also currently using ( and will blog about it probably next week ..too many products and lost track which one i have blogged about and which one i have not ) .

Yes , so if you are looking for hydro-gel masks , you can consider Cel-Derma. Oppa’s mum recommended this because it is affordable and it hydrates your skin.

She is really cute.. because she will message us to remind us to put on the masks, always encourage and reminds us to take good care of our skin. She even asked me to remind my bf to do it too lol..because she knows that boys doesn’t know much about skincare.

I really like this gel mask because it does helps to hydrate and brighten my skin. I think one box is about KRW 19,900. I used to use Missha masks everyday and im still using them but i mix in with other brands because im getting older and have other skin concerns. Im gonna start using those collagen and lifting/tightening products and this coming trip to Korea , im gonna get all of them there. Im gonna get collagen creams , ampoules , hyaluronic serums and many more. I wont review the brands now till i bought it and tried it myself.

I want to start taking care of my skin early and probably gonna start anti-aging products when im 32years old. So now , just start on collagen , lifting and tightening products ( creams , ampoules and masks ). But im still sticking to hydrating toners and serums and whitening cleansers.

I wan to buy a small little fridge and put in my room to store all my masks. My mum has been nagging at me because part of her fridge is currently occupied by all masks , ampoules etc.

Been out in the sun for photoshoots and totally sun burnt. Need to tone back my skin again !

My K-beauty – Masks and overnight packs.

Call me crazy but i apply overnight packs / sheet masks everyday.

I put on sheet masks twice a week and the rest of the week are for overnight packs/night cream.

HERA Filler Ampoule.

On really dry and rainy days , i will apply this because it is very hydrating ( note ..abit sticky ) . It is rich in Hyaluronic acid which holds to the moisture strongly and leaves your skin feeling hydrated, reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also helps to improve radiancy.

Sometimes i have soo many skincare products ( for hydration , whitening , brightening , anti aging etc ) that i have to write on a piece of paper and stick on my wall with the step by step and products to use. It is a good option if you are traveling to countries during their winter season. Because you skin can get abit dry and these ampoules do help to lock in the moisture. May feel abit sticky when used in SG’s weather but in winter season , your skin really feels hydrated and “normal”.

After photoshoot , i will use whitening ( esp for outdoor shoots ) , hydration on rainy and windy days , brightening , whitening and light hydration during hot sunny days etc.

Another overnight mask which i always use if i sleep late or when my skin feels dull and dry. Texture is abit oily / creamy but it is an overnight mask and supposed to last you the entire night. I like this because i woke up with radiant skin and i will use a hot tower to pat the excess off my face the next morning because cleansing.

Not a sleeping pack but a night cream to me. An anti-aging and brightening cream. Skin does brightens up the next day and i really love this. Abit creamy or oily so i used it as the last step and went to sleep with it.

Sheet masks. I got alot of them from Korea during the 1+1 promotion. over 300 pieces and they last me for 2 years already. Most of them are from Missha , Nature Republic , Hera and Sulwhasoo.

I am also using the Cell-Derma T-laser Hydrogel mask which Oppa’s mother bought for me.

It was ranked the No 1 hot selling hydrogel mask in Korea. Indeed , it really hydrates my skin and i love it ! If you are heading to Korea, you should try this Hydro gel mask. One thing i like about hydrogel masks compared to sheet masks is that it sticks on to the skin really well. It is very “wet” and i will squeeze out the excess serum found in the packaging and apply onto my neck area. Don’t know how much it costs and where to get it since it was a gift from Oppa’s mum. I shall ask her where to get it. Love this hydrogel mask.

These are the masks and overnight packs i use daily.I even put on sheet masks or the overnight pack ( sample size ) when im on long haul flight ( of more than 4 hours ). Before putting on these masks / overnight packs , you need to cleanse your face really well. Shall blog about the cleansing part later.

Im always recommending and reviewing about ladies stuff.
